Well, what do you know? My modified keyboard works well... I now have the wonderful feel of the Cherry MX Blue keyswitches and an even quieter keyboard than the MX brown ones. Basically I put strips of thin, soft foam rubber between the keys so that they dont hit the end stop but rather hit the foam. This only affects the last fraction of a mm of travel so it doesnt affect the feel much (might even be an improvement if anything) but it entirely removes the sharp clack sound on each keypress. Muhahaha! I have the worlds only stealth Cherry MX blue keyboard! Unless anyone else has done it, of course... bet someone has... bastards...
