Welp! Now I remember why I always chose to go to the doctors in Charleston instead of the ones here! The one I went to today to use as my primary physician and for referrals if needed said, Your blood pressure is fine so I am going to take you off blood pressure medication! I yelled, No you are not! I have been on it since I was 29 years old and the only reason it is 124/86 right now is the fact that I took my blood pressure pill! Plus, my family history with blood pressure and heart attacks starting in the early 40s...No way! The blood pressure pills has probably saved me from having a heart attack thus far...had a mini stroke once...SMH Good Grief! Do some people think one reading shows a normal blood pressure? Shoot, the machine did not work to start with and then the nurse had to try it again. I doubt it was an accurate reading anyway!...lol...I am glad I learn to speak up for myself because the last doctor I tried here misdiagnosed me and caused me lots of problems! Anyway, Cannot get to Charleston so I have to deal with quacks for a while and as soon as I get a car, I am going back to my regular primary physician at CMAC! SMH...Have to argue for blood pressure meds. How asinine is that?...lol
