Went down memory lane today remembering days when we were kids and Mum and Dad were still there for us. Dad was a real good body surfer and used to love to go to Emu Park where he would go out to the first line of breakers, wait for the right one, and then hoist himself on the crest and swim like mad until he caught it. Then he would out one hand out in front like a Ski and paddle like hell with the other one and come flying into shore. He always said Emu Park was better than Yeppoon because the water was always saltier and I must say, it still is
