Went on an evening ride with Judy and decided to go a way we rarely ever go - mostly because you have to come back home on a paved road with traffic. It was getting dark and I hear a kitten below me - I get off and go back and when I talk it mews and I see it in the bushes and reach in and pick it up - instant purring - thats hard to resist! So long story short - she has a broken front leg, some chipped teeth and scabs around her nose/mouth, about 8 weeks old, very friendly, drags her foot up to the first joint - you can pinch her toes and she doesnt do anything, but has cried a couple times if it gets bent in the wrong direction. Our guess is she was dumped quite possibly from a moving vehicle. :( Notice Im using she!! Tomorrow were off to find a vet it looks like.
