Went out to dinner with our friend Martyn, our eldest daughter Kristine, Kristines youngest girl and our other grandson Jordo Tashas eldest) to Montazumas Labrador for our anniversary. Ive had a sore throat since Saturday morning and swallowing has been VERY painful and not much better tonight. Also my nerve pain thing on my right side had a look in after relative alrightness the last week. But I wasnt going to let it spoil the night. Lovely chicken burritos, but could only eat one, but thats ok. Then, during dessert Martyn gets a call from his wife Mary (who didnt come as she wasnt well) about our mutual friend and model train club member sounding like he was having a turn. Martyn wasnt satisfied with the call he made in return James and came back to check with me about diabetes hypo - me being the resident type 2 diabetes expert(?) and I told him it sounded like one. I got him to call 000, tell them about James, tell who he was, and give them James address. He and I then left in a hurry (leaving Relly to handle the bill with Krissy). Got there, ambos were in attendance and had given James a shot and we were right to call them. We then sat about with him for a while as he had dinner and sugared up and had a coffee with him. Could have been a better anniversary dinner with less discomfort and a friend in need, but thats what friends are for in essence. Glad to help and glad to be in love and loved by my Relly who understood everything. Love ya my treasure!
