Went out with the camera this afternoon to shoot some flowers and stumbled upon a nice flock of Waxwings in a flowering bush at the Quarter Circle Bridge. They stuck around long enough for several good shots. Once home, it was straight to the internet to try and figure out if they were Cedar or Bohemian Waxwings. Bohemian Waxwings live farther north (primarily) and have rusty red feathers under the tail. You can identify Cedar Waxwings by their yellowish bellies and white under the tail. These were Cedar Waxwings. (bh)
