Went to Brgy. Baang, Catigbian where residents of Brgy. Bagtic have been evacuated. Thanks to Downtown D.t. Church Cebu for helping us (the used clothes, relief goods, medicines youve brought) and the awesome job youve done today - psychosocial therapy: kids enjoyed and participated with the singing (action songs and chants were very therapeutic and their voices were like music in our ears considering the traumatic experience theyve been through), Bible story telling and coloring activity; the youth had games and group dynamic activity where it serves a great avenue to release the stress and divert their attention from the calamity theyve been through; the family counseling to the evacuees inside their tents and for letting them share their stories, fears, worries and sharing them Gods word and giving reassurance - good therapy for them! Distributed relief goods, used clothes, medication and water!
