Went to Mass yesterday at St. Francis Of Assisi here in Nixa. I havent been to Mass in a while and I must say it was nice. The church is newer, but is a small but growing parish. I found myself longing for and missing St. Joseph in Kimmswick. It had been my parish since I was 5 and to know the original church building itself is gone is always hard when I go back home to visit friends. It was always a source of comfort going to Mass at St. Joe knowing I could get as much as I wanted to get out of it. I was spoiled with Father Joe and Father T. It makes you appreciate them even more as we grow older and see that all sermons are not created equal. I liked going back to Mass and will go again next week. I feel like I got a lot out of it.
