Went to a we the people forum/mtg Saturday in East Aurora. The message was clear. The problems exist and are many. But what can one do? Far too often I have seen, read, or heard of some kind of abuse or violation of rules, constitutions, trust in various forms. I could list them all again but anyone who has read this far knows me and the many issues I have brought up. But again..what can one person do? I could continue to speak up to a deaf dumb and blind audience only to expend myself mentally and ostracism myself further socially. But to what end? Go down fighting to show my kids? Keep up the good fight while my neighbors left right and center say good boy and thats it? Maybe its time to take it to a different level? Maybe having been ostracism by even those close to me in things and issues and causes close to my heart..like the fire dept..like coaching for the Raiders..like local town and educational politics...maybe its time to stop flapping my jaws and pecking away at keyboards to a superficially grateful audience yet substantively ungrateful and unappreciated. Too often I have accomplished something small here and there Only to be limited by my individual or small group of such s capabilities. Maybe its time to join a national group with many many others? And one that doesnt narrowly focus on one issue or cause. Maybe this we the people thing is it? Hmmmm. Time to look into it further and not be led by the cover of the book. Thinking aloud.
