Went to keep Mollie company this afternoon, her day was not going well. She was mad about something or at least she was out of sorts, never did figure it out. She had a male aid, I thought that might have set her off , so tomorrow I believe Ill have a chat with the head nurse to see if we can correct that situation. She had visitors today, Bob and Julie Davis stopped by while they were in town. Its always nice to have a visit from old friends. After they left Mollie even commented how nice it was for that girl to stop. Fed her lunch and supper today she ate every bite of food. Their meals are very tasty, Ive even ate them and not been disappointed at all. Carriage Inn even has a snack cart in the afternoon to tide them over until supper. PT today was a little teary, the therapist was sitting on the side of the bed with Mollie and I was with her just in case Mollie had one of her world famous jerks, none occurred. She asked Mollie if she liked to rock in a chair, Mollie said oh yes! She and Mollie kind of rocked back and forth and Mollie melted into her shoulder. Thats all Mollie wanted was to be held. She realized what was happening and it was only hugging type therapy from then on for about 10-15 minutes. I think Mollie will be wanting her PT from now on. Tomorrow is another day, Miranda is her companion tomorrow, I need to write checks and work on organizing the office and our bedroom.So goodnite everyone have a great weekend. Good nite Irene!
