Went to see Cannibal Corpse and Aeon last night. Emil Wiksten is one of the tightest, most impressive metal drummers Ive seen in a long time. Such tightness, power and stamina. From the first song to the last, he was just ridiculously impressive to watch and listen. If this was the first show of the tour, Im afraid of what hell be like after six weeks on the road. Cannibal Corpse were also incredibly heavy and still after all these years, they put on a great show and people love them. Emil gave me a lot of motivation to practice, because he was just that impressive. So glad to still see musicians who can play everything you hear on the album, who are passionate enough to put in the hours to master what theyre doing. So many bands sound tight and fast on an album, well, Aeon sound way better live than most bands do on their albums. They played my favorite song, Kill Them All, but because there arent great videos with good audio of that song, Ill just leave you with Forgiveness Denied. youtube/watch?v=3A17ASUMfHo
