Went to see the doctor today at 9AM. As many of you know, I have REALLY REALLY bad varicose veins, which is why I wear thigh high stockings (fishnet, etc, etc) with my clothing. Here lately they have become super painful, both legs are burning, the right upper inner thigh (which feels like it has a fever), and the left calf / ankle which is tight and burns. Both legs at the same time? Hhmmmm? Does not sound like a clot to me because, I do not have any swelling at all, just pain. Yesterday I did 45min of cardio on the treadmill, and still no swelling, just pain. So today I go to the doctors office, and it is closed. I called the emergency line and talked to the nurse, and she said the doctor was suppose to call me within 30min. Since then, No call from the doctor, but the emergency nurse keeps calling, checking on me, and says she keeps calling the doctor, and to call her back in 15min if no call and its been 2 1/2hrs... So I am sitting outside of Urgent Care / ER waiting for her to call and tell me if I should wait till Monday to see her, or walk I to Urgent Care and get it looked at. Because its been over two hours and no call, it makes me feel like I should just spend the money and go in. Its tough decision... I have no insurance and walking in will cost a lot of money. I dont want to do that if what I am experiencing is normal pain / symptoms of varicose viens... I need spells, blessings, and prayers. Hope all of this will all be okay. XXOO - Christa
