Went to the Buffalo show last night. Looked forward to it for quite a while and bought tickets the day they went on sale. Musicianship: Second to none. Stage presence, well, you could tell it was the last show of the tour. While the singer and drummer were super entertaining I think the Keyboard player was more active than the guitar or bass players. In fact, the bassist was like watching an Easter Island statue play bass. A disappointingly small amount of band interaction overall. Favorite moment: After the band was done playing Torture and were changing guitars for the next song the crowd continued to sing the chorus to the band for about 2 minutes straight. It was fantastic. The band kind of threw their hands up and said what do we do now? The singer even said Well look at you..the crowd erupted and they went on to their next song. If you ever wanted feedback from an audience, as a band, that was the best kind. Finally, merchandise. Wanted to buy a concert shirt for myself. Not really a concert shirt guy, but I feel like Ive been introducing friends and family to this band for a long time and wanted to represent. Unfortunately, the guy selling the shirts said Last show of the tour man, sorry, all we have is smalls and mediums. I havent been a medium since 6th grade...So Ill be buying a shirt from the website store because I still want to represent this gem of a band.
