Went to the kitchen this morning with the intentions of baking a strawberry pie for a new mommy. Couldnt find a pie plate, so Dennis and I went to the basement to look through some boxes. He was sure he knew right where they were. Well, what we DID find was lots of things Id forgotten about in the last 3 years...things I wanted to hang on my walls. So....here it is 5:00pm, and Im still in the clothes I slept in, BUT I now have my cabinet tops decorated with antiques and baskets, Dennis hooked up the lighting under my cabinets, sawed off a pie cabinet to make it fit under my cabinets, moved some of the under-cabinet lights, we hung things in the bathroom and the bedroom, and a plethora of other things were accomplished!!! So thankful for a willing and able hubby. Our house is looking homier all the time. NOW to go take my shower and get dressed. OH, and finish my pies! Yes, Liz...the crust is done. Now for the filling. All this because I wanted to bake pies at 8:00 this morning.
