Went up to the Taylor Wimpey homes up near the Flying Shuttle yesterday to have a look at 3 bed houses. Really nice fell in love with one of them as you would. Bought back down to earth when sales rep told me a £10,000 deposit needed to reserve house of choice on plan................WTF!!!!!! Who in the hell has 10 grand upfront to get onto the mortgage ladder and buy a house??? How do first time buyers do it or anyone in Haverhill ( apart from lottery winner who has bought the entire row of flats) which we were told.
