Were F & G, and woe is we, Someones drivin the bus, but it aint us! I dropped Sammy off at Market Basket this morning so she could protest. Then I ventured into Shaws to pick up some groceries. . .it was PACKED!! I had on my ATD pin and that prompted many conversations with customers, all of whom were so sweet and supportive, saying they would honor the boycott for as long as the employees wanted despite the cost to them - AMAZING!! Next, on my way home I passed by Peters Farm - PACKED!! Hey F&G, why dont you spend this weekend working on your firing line list? By Sunday afternoon you could have the names and addresses of your next set of targets into the hands of your couriers! Then you can start working on the next list and then move on to bringing in contract staff to accept deliveries at the stores and get the shelves full again. But wait...I think you may still have a problem. You see, this thing going on here is a relay race. The gun went off when our stellar management (whom you fired on Sunday) ripped the baton from your hands. Then they passed the baton to the headquarters staff who then passed it ti the warehouse staff who then passed it to the drivers who then passed it to the store directors and their teams. Now, ALL of us have collectively passed the baton to Market Baskets loyal customers - and these folks are just going to keep doing laps around the track until they see ATD standing in front of them with all of US behind him!! We can all hold out. . .we have our friends and families and whole communities behind us offering to help in all kinds of ways - including financial. Every day that goes by while you sit around utterly lame is a gift to us and ATD because the paper value of the company will have gone down again, thus making the eventual buy-out an even greater deal. Sooooo super happy that your lies were uncovered Thursday night and advertised to everyone watching the news. Now any doubters that were out there are FULLY AWAKE as well!! ;-)
