Were having the same problem we had last year again. There has been very little attendance at recent club meetings. I know part of it is that school has been pretty irregular, there hasnt been school several mondays and thursdays. If thats all that its been, then alright, this is just a reminder to you that were still meeting every monday during resource time (when there is school and no mandatory assemblies) and every thursday during lunch. I will try to be better about reminding over facebook, and Im going to try starting up the emails again (comment your email if you think I may not have it and you want to get updates.) Im really pleased with the plans we have been making at recent meetings, but I think we need to have another meeting to regroup and decide on a structure and agenda for the year. We talked about this at the first few meetings, but many people didnt return and we didnt end up making any solid plans. This thursday during lunch I would like everyone who wants to be an active, contributing member of the club to meet in the media classroom to help make those plans. I am totally willing to continue to try to coordinate this club (and Im buckling down this week to work on being much more diligent about it) and I really enjoy doing so, but I also have a lot on my plate and I need commitment from more people in this club if were going to really take action. So, as I said, I will begin emails again where I will include relevant events and demonstrations happening in the community, and summaries of what were focusing on in the club. I really do not write this with negative feelings towards anyone, I just wanted a reminder that were here and we need you!!! xoxo see you thursday!
