Were investigating a report of an attempted abduction on the Isle of Wight. An 18 year old womans told officers she was approached by a man, driving a van, as she walked along Green Road at around 10pm on Saturday November 15. The man tried to get the woman to go with him but she pushed the man off and he left. Officers are now working with the woman to establish the facts and surrounding circumstances that led to this report. Wed like to reassure the public that the situation is being investigated.
