Were just getting started and the days almost over. I woke up around 5 AM yesterday. Arrived in Los Angeles around 1 PM. Picked up CDs from 3 clients. Met Lisa for a great dinner at Musso & Franks. Went to the Roxy to see the Swans and meet up with old friend, Christoph Hahn, who plays peddle steel in the band. The Swans played an incredible set that was brutal and beautiful at the same time. It brought tears of pain and love to my eyes. We also saw old friends Mariska, Stuart, Joe and Max there. Left Los Angeles around 1 AM. Arrived home in Las Vegas at 5 AM. Spent two hours carrying close to 8,000 CDs up the stairs and into our apartment. Took the car back. Got into bed at 8 AM. We had been awake for 27 hours. Slept until 1:30 PM. I just finished doing my daily tasks. Now I have to box up my sales and get them to the post office (which doesnt close until 9 PM). I also have two damaged items claims I need to take care of. I also need to pick something simple up for dinner. Then we can watch a few DVRd TV shows and get back into bed about 1 AM. There will be no rest this weekend as we have a party tomorrow I need to cook for. On Sunday were seeing Kinky Boots. On Monday were meeting friends for Mexican Independence Day Chilies en Nogadas at Leticias Mexican Cocina, and then heading to the Bunkhouse to see the Breeders. I can finally catch a breath on Tuesday. Never let it be said that 60 years old is too old to keep acting like a teenager.
