Were looking for interns! Straight 8 Entertainment is a boutique management company located off Elliston Place in Nashville, TN. Straight 8 is looking for two interns who can use skills such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, Wordpress, Social Media, and more. Interns have a variety of responsibilities including creating artist one sheets, office mailings and organization, web banners and graphics, and updating websites. Interns are encouraged to generate ideas at brainstorming meetings, attend local shows and events put on by the company, and implement marketing plans. Interns will also communicate on behalf of artists with booking agents, record labels, and other partners. As well as getting a look into management, the intern will work with affiliated record label Digitally Sound Records and merchandise company Blind Tiger Merch. This is an unpaid, learning experience. Priority will be to those with a need for college credit. This will be 3-9 month term and we’re flexible with scheduling. Our typical hours are 9-6 M-F.
