Were looking into getting a Swb manual to tow our horse trailer and Im under the impression that a 2.8 is a better choice over the 2.5? Im a mechanic so working on the vehicle isnt a problem, however we need it to be reliable. I did briefly own a lwb 2.5 did the timing belt etc and was straight forward enough to work on.obviously the 2.8 had a chain so one less thing to do I guess as ice not heard of many 2.8s suffering from chain issues? Any advice would be great thanks.
