Were paying for three bureaucracies to do a poor job administering some of the finest health care providers in the world...throttling care with paperwork and top-heavy organizations, rife with no-show and low-show political appointees, all geared toward perpetuating Health Care as a jobs program, rather than a pathway to wellness. Heres the idea I will discuss this week in a nutshell...Consolidate all three systems, treat with the presumption of payment - allowing physicians to pre-stock supplies rather than give the government health care system a no-interest loan, and PAY THEM in a timely manner. Swap deductibles, when applicable, to quarterly, so folks can see a doctor when needed, and dont delay preventive and early detection visits. ONE system - fewer admins - more care providers. Veterans can walk into ANY doctors office with an appointment...period. So can anyone else. THAT is socialized medicine run efficiently. HUGE penalties for fraud, including asset seizure for reimbursement - and that applies to medical suppliers gaming the system. Treatment plans are assigned by the folks with the Medical Degrees - not actuaries. Tiered deductibles based on previous years income, but adjusted immediately with job loss or the loss of a wage-earner in the household through death or divorce. Presumption of coverage for children ALWAYS. Naturally, the real description is more detailed, but what say you?
