Were so excited to announce that this summer Rabbi Shaffer will be leading members of Congregation Beth Israel as we return to Les Cayes, Haiti to build a home for a family in need! Stable housing is such a nightmare in this country and its lack forces many families to send their children to live in the streets or to be cared for (not!) in corrupt institutions modeling as orphanages. Thats what happened to Job. But were going to get him back home to his mom by building them a house this summer!
