Were very sorry, folks, but we can not travel to Austin, TX tonight. Read below for more information: Baton Rouge shut down ALL bridges that could get us over the Mississippi. Im not quite sure if they know you can lay down some salt and have traffic workers keep people moving through in a controlled manner, but what do we know were from up North where this happens for about 25% of the year. The bridges opened back up a few times; Sirens and Sailors made it through, but TOTA, Sworn In, and Shai Hulud remains trapped in Baton Rouge. There are hundreds of cars out here that have been sitting here since early in the morning who can not even get out of the traffic to use a restroom, grab a burrito, have a baby, etc. We cant get to Austin, TX in time for our show because we were stuck on a ramp for over 11 hours until we backed traffic up enough to turn around after state police informed us there was NO way to get over a bridge leading to TX until early tomorrow morning. Insanity. We will be rebooking this date at the soonest possible time because it was one of the most highly anticipated for us, we love Austin and missing a Friday show is the worst. Our apologies to Kublai Kahn and our friends in Legion, please go see them.
