West Allegheny has made the change to a new school and team physician. Please welcome Allegheny Medical and their primary physician, Dr. Russ Adams, DO. Allegheny Medical is located at 2000 Cliff Mine Road, Park West Two, Suite 110, Pittsburgh, PA 15275, across from the Marriott. With the start of the athletic year and our affiliation with Dr. Adams and Allegheny Medical, they have initiated a Saturday morning clinic during the fall season. The clinic runs from 9am-11am from their office and appointments can be made earlier in the week or first come-first serve basis on Saturday. Gauging on the response and number of patients seen, they may consider expanding this to the winter sports season. More on that at a later date. Most insurances will be accepted or a $30 office visit can be paid when you arrive on Saturday morning. There is no obligation to go to Allegheny Medical. You are always able to contact your own primary care physician or pediatrician as before. If you happen to use the services of Allegheny Medical, please inform our Athletic Trainer, Matt Triebsch so he is aware of any orthopedic issue. Matt is also available to assist, as always with referrals to those orthopedic physicians and/or specialists at UPMC.
