West Virginian Rylie Cottrill, a student at St. Joseph the Worker School in Weirton, was named a finalist in the nationwide Doodle 4 Google Competition. The winning student will have their artwork displayed on Google’s homepage on June 9th, spend a day with the Google Doodle Team, and receive a college scholarship. The winner’s school will also receive a technology grant to establish or improve a computer lab or technology program.
