Western Adelaide Detectives are seeking witnesses to a serious assault at Port Adelaide early this morning. At about 4am police responded to a report of a fight at a car park on Commercial Road between a group of people including one man who produced a knife. One man was taken to hospital where he is undergoing surgery for cuts to his arm. The two parties were known to each other and this was not a random incident. Detectives have spoken to a number of witnesses and seized CCTV and a car believed to be involved in the incident. Police are now searching for two suspects. One suspect is described as 21- or 22-years-old, of Asian appearance, about 183cm tall. He was wearing dark jeans and a blue jumper. The other suspect is about 20 years of age and of Caucasian appearance. It is believed the cars involved were a gold Ford Territory and a white Mitsubishi Magna.
