Westies Living Wage Aotearoa New Zealand Movement group met again this morning to plan for co-hosting the upcoming Auckland Council Election candidates meeting on Wednesday, 18 September at the Tuvalu Christian Church (15-17 Aetna Place, Henderson) from 6pm-8pm. They are all geared up with their questions for the candidates (Living Wage for directly and indirectly employed staff by Auckland Council, social housing, empowerement and accountability)... speakers from communities, entertainment, banner making day etc... To all our communities out West Auckland... get involved to make sure you have a say in who you would like to be the next mayor of Auckland, councillors and local board members who are going to be working with your communities to build stronger communities in West Auckland.
