Weve been doing a lot of exciting things the past few days! Thursday we drove up to Pittsburgh and had a great dinner with Sydney and a lovely visit with Syd, Katherine, Medeley, and Violet. Friday Syd got us all into the Carnegie Mellon museum (Art + Natural History) and showed us some great exhibits. Then, to make the day even better, Joe and Edi Zentis drove down the girls so that Rob and I could spend three fewer hours on the road on Saturday and so that Kath and Syd could have some quality time with them. What a fabulous day! Saturday Rob, Sugar, Serena, and I had a smooth drive back to DC and checked into the seriously fabulous Homewood Suites down in Springfield. This morning we got the last two major items we needed for the packout (the TV and the recliner) and relaxed the rest of the day. We still have several more people to see and still need our visas, but otherwise were right on track to leave next Tuesday.
