Weve been hearing feedback about the new animated movie The Boxtrolls. Apparently the villain (voiced by Ben Kingsley) is severely allergic to dairy and has a severe reaction. Were hearing differing feedback. A lot of people say they liked the movie but were concerned the allergy parts may not be appropriate for really young children with milk allergy. But others are saying the movie provides an excuse for discussion with kids about their food allergies. The editors at AL have not had the opportunity yet to view the movie. If you went, what did you think of the treatment of #foodallergy – and would you recommend or not for other families with children with milk or other food allergies?
