Weve been quite busy today...made medical appointments (for school physicals), dental appointments for all, explored a little bit of our Bavarian home outside the gates (so beautiful and so old school- I cant wait to share pictures with you of it), visited our favorite eis man (ice cream), and started looking for a car for Chris. Picked up our rental and we got our German licenses. The USO here is wonderful and provides meals for us three nights a week- and lunches on weekends. We had our first community style dinner with some new friends we traveled here from the states with and fed a lot of hungry newbies in the process (made tacos and fellowshipped in our lobby) It fed my soul exactly what it needed- making people feel loved and welcomed! Here are some pics- Please tell Chris NOT to buy this little beat up German car. He thinks its cool. The white one is our rental. Some type of German Ford minivan. Until next time!
