Weve found some discarded property believed to have been stolen from York. Could it belong to you or your family? Some of it may have sentimental value, but has not been reported stolen. It is believed that the items were stolen from somewhere else and discarded at the scene of a sneak-in burglary at a property on Jacobi Close, in Clifton, York, on 29 June 2014. The items may have been discarded in order for the offender to take an Xbox and a racing bike from the address. Among the items left behind was an RAF Service and Relief book, which was given to service personnel when leaving the forces. It is likely to have sentimental value to somebody but has not been reported stolen. Also left behind were a number of pairs of childrens football boots and a chain with an Arsenal pendant on it. Officers are keen trace the owners of the stolen items and are urging people to come forward if they believe they belong to them.
