Weve had a variety of serious issues with some students this past week. The most pressing is one student who took a stand against her husband demanding the daughters undergo FGM. She was beaten for it. She stood and gave a testimony during our morning bible time and praised God for protecting her, that she is still alive, as it could have been much worse. I am humbled by her faith. I struggle with how to best help without causing a rift in the community, yet protecting this dear sister. Asking for prayers for wisdom and direction.
