Weve had lots of ups and downs the last few days so I havent posted anything. Mark is still on the vent, low settings (45%fio2) vitals are stable, hes lightly sedated, responds and jokes. Our goal is to decrease the Peep (pressure setting on the vent for non medical). It is at 14 now and needs to get down to 5. Pulmonologist wants to go slowly to make sure hes ready. Thank you all for your thought, kind words, respect, and love. A special thank you to our 4 amazing kids and their spouses/significant others who takes turns staying with me around the clock. We couldnt get through this without them.
