Weve just done our first emergency trachi change!!! It blocked completely with a blood/mucus clot! He was gasping for breathes and changing colour! Me and nath leaped into action and managed to get a new breathing trachi tube in, which calmed him instantly. Scared us to death, lots of tears and shaking. Its amazing what you can do when you realise your bubbas life is on the line, no matter how terrified you are. Were feeling pretty damn strong right now, but pretty paranoid too, hes getting stared at every time he coughs lol!
