Weve just got home after taking our children to play in the Monkshouse Park and I have a small request to those who like to spend their evenings sat in there drinking. If you insist on drinking in a childrens play area could you please at least use the bins provided. I would much rather spend time playing with my children in the park instead of going around picking up your empty bottles and cans. It is a childrens play area, please use the bins and help keep the park safe for children. This is not intended to be rude or aggressive but with there being a risk of a child falling on broken glass I feel it needs to be said. Bin it or drink somewhere else.
