We’ve been back two weeks now, but Maui is one of my favorite places. The scenery is amazing, the road to Hana is breathtaking, and the road around the backside of the island from Hana is even more so - especially after a storm. The food at Paia Fish Market and Mama’s Fish House is great and we had the best Thai food we’ve ever eaten at an open air place in Hana. Waterfalls and pools, beaches of all sorts, memorable hiking, bamboo forests, volcanic outcroppings, scenic winding drives, and tropical flowers and fruits – what else could one need?
