Whaling blue sees Bob Brown front US court Rick Wallace From: The Australian November 08, 2013 12:00AM FORMER Greens leader Bob Brown has described fugitive Sea Shepherd founder Paul Watson as one of the greatest living environmentalists in a bid to overturn an injunction against the militant anti-whaling activist and his organisation. Mr Brown, who heads Sea Shepherd Australia, testified in a US appeals court yesterday, arguing that an earlier ruling calling Sea Shepherd and Mr Watson pirates, and clearing the way for Japan to take further legal action against them, should be overturned. Mr Watson, who had been in hiding, was able to testify in the Seattle court after legal wrangling.
