What A Birthday Celebration I had last Saturday night (January 18), at the beautiful Horseshoe Casino, in Hammond, Indiana. I shared my Birthday with Ms. Angela Winbush , (whose actual Birthday was on January 18), and a full Live concert with Kenneth Baby Face Edmonds, After 7 and Chicagos hot new artist, jazz trumpeter T L Williams, who performed his big hit Got More Money Than You. The sold out venue, even though the nasty weather kept some ticket holders at home, was a real treat for all who attended. Baby Face showed up and showed out by singing all of his big hits and performing many of the hits he has written for many other artists, like Boyz To Men, Toni Braxton and a few others. He wowed the crowd by jumping off the stage and working his way through the crowd, which made the ladies go crazy. After the concert, everyone was invited to stay and get their step on until the wee hours of the night (2:00am). Deejay mellow Khris really put on a show himself. No one in the Country is doing what Chicago is when it comes to combining a Live concert and Steppin. Al Kennedy and I are putting together some very exciting events for the Steppin community, so stay tuned!
