What?! A Helio Sequence ACOUSTIC show?! Yep, you heard right…while I cant guarantee it will be as good as Metallicas Acoustic Metal album (yes, that really exists)...we’re going “unplugged” this Saturday eve May 10 for the Children’s Book Bank benefit show at The Historic Old Church in Portland. Instead of blowing the stained glass windows out of a beautiful old building with 10,000 dB of sub bass and sonic swirl, we’ve decided to do what we’ve never done before…we’re stripping it down (the music, that is.) In our over 15 years as a band we’ve never played an acoustic show. Come out and see Helio history being made ☺ It’s an early show…doors at 7,we go on at 9….and all proceeds go to benefit a great organization giving books to children in need. James would approve.
