What Are You Hearing Today? On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. - Zeph 3:16 Fear is the major factor that rules the world. God many times warns His people to fear not. Fear is the bait satan use to get its victims. The corrupt manufacturers use fear to get people buy their products. Politicians use fear to win votes. Religious leaders use fear to win members. Traditional elders use fear to enslave their subjects. Everything of the world and satan thrives on platform of fear, if they can make you afraid they conquer you. God people are called to live by faith (Read Hab 2:4. Rom 1:17. Gal 3:11. Heb 10:38). • Fear is opposite of faith. Fear make its victim hands hang limp. John put it this way: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (I John 4:18 NKJV) > Yes, fear torments its victim daily. Fear torments till death. Theres no glory in fear. • Fear is a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger. To be afraid or frightened of the unknown. > Jesus says, Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble...And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:4-7. Matthew 6:34 NKJV) • Fear is related to worrying about the unknown. Fear makes people worry about their loved ones, worry about the future saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ (Matt 6:31) > Fear makes people hide from the truth. Adam said, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10 NKJV) • Many people today are living in bondage out of fear; The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25 NKJV) > Faith in the Lord Jesus will deliver you from fear and keep you free. No wonder Paul said, Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV) • When you know your value in Christ Jesus you will fear the unknown nor what man can do to you; Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV) > Dont entertain fear that religious leaders and politicians are spreading today. For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying: “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled...To the law [of Christ - Jn 13:34-35] and to the testimony [of Christ - Rev 19:10]! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isaiah 8:11-12, 20 NKJV) • What are you hearing in your church, social club, media, newspapers, family, school and at work? + Are you sowing seed and tithing because you are afraid of curse and devourer? Thats living in bondage of the law! + Are you going to church and doing what they taught you thats contrary to the life and teachings of Jesus because you are afraid of the wrath of God? Thats living in bondage of religion! + Are you afraid of questioning the teachings and practices of your priests, pastors or leaders? Thats living in bondage of men! + Are you believing every spirit and teachings because you are afraid to study your bible to know the truth for yourself? Thats living in bondage of religion! + Are afraid of anything around you; afraid of people? You need to free yourself from that torment through love; There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (I John 4:18 NKJV) • Hear the voice of truth today saying, Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV) > As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” (Mark 5:36 NKJV) • Can you hear His voice saying to you right now, “Do not be afraid; only believe...If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23 NKJV) > Your believe is your righteousness before God; For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” (Romans 4:3 NKJV) • You can never be wrong believing God; ...Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.” (Romans 3:4 NKJV) > Hear the word of God, believe the word of God, confess the word of God and you shall receive what the word of God says; His word says, Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows...He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV) • We are healed, forgiven, washed, sanctified, redeemed and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1Cor 6:11. Eph 1:1-7) + May you be delivered from fear and its bondage in every area of your life today and forever; May God grant you that you, bring delivered from the hand of your enemy, might serve Him without fear in Jesus Name! Amen! Fear No More! Only Believe! (Lk 1:74. Heb 2:14-15)
