What Dreams May Come is a movie that my beautiful Fiancee Nida introduced me to years ago. Robin Williams plays the role of a Father and Husband, whos Wife takes her own life. She then is stuck in purgatory as he tries relentlessly to convince her to come to the light and meet him once he also passes away. This movie had a huge impact on my life, as my Mom took her life when I was 18 years old. Having dealt with similar circumstances, you really have to let go of the blame and guilt associated with suicide, and understand that people have been dealing with an insurmountable amount of pain, and are only now truly at peace. Obviously everyone wishes they could have done something, but we have to learn and become better prepared as a society to address depression. My thoughts and prayers are with the Williams Family, and we all feel like we have lost someone close.
