What FB needs is a way for people to more accurately trim what they see in their feeds. I like my friends a lot and am interested in what they have to say. Im not necessarily interested in ALL the things they or their other friends are interested in. This is fine and dandy; variety is a good thing. What Id like is the ability to trim which of their posts comes over to my feed. For instance, if they are very much into a motivational site, Id like to be able to block that from coming over. This does not mean that I think my friend needs to be blocked, or that the site they are sharing is bad in any way. Its just that Im not interested in it and it takes up space. Just because I dont share 100% of my friends interests does not mean I am not interested in what they have to say. My friends have many other friends that enjoy things that I dont enjoy. The world does not revolve around me, but my newsfeed does. I have tried the I dont want to see this feature and I have tried the hide all from BS-Motivation-Club. Nothing seems to work. The shares that I block keep popping up and FB cant seem to understand trends. FB is spending all sorts of time and money on facial recognition which is absolutely stupid for the normal user, but cant figure out how to make FB more useable. It makes me wonder what their motivation is.
