I feel my mind hum and my knees weaken when we kiss. I feel these things even though we dance this dance, this tango of careful push and pull. I can be patient at times and impatient at other times. However, my feeling will not fade anytime soon, for you I still swoon. Though, I am aware of your fear of commitment, abandonment, and trust. On your terms we dance this dance, until you grow tired of this all or into my arms you fall. My insomnia is my mind trying to figure this whole thing out. My heart still beats so hard when I hear you laugh and when you are near, but it breaks a little every day since you stopped calling me baby, it aches so since you stopped telling me how much you are into me. I did this, I know that. I must have misunderstood your words, hearing what I wanted to hear instead of what you really meant. What once felt so powerfully passionate has begun to feel platonic.
