What I find interesting in evolution is that religions also go through evolution as time passes by. The ancient sumarians had literally hundreds and hundreds of gods. And these gods lived in what they represented. God in trees. God in a rock. They are easily reachable. And then fast forward. To the Greek god and goddesses. Less variety and a more centralized system. They have a home bass. Mt. Olympus. But it is in the sky so non believers couldnt ever get to it. Harder to get to their gods. And now we have Christianity. One singular God of everything. The most centralized you can get. He is everywhere, nowhere and everything that knows all. Impossible to reach. Also impossible for non believers to disprove or prove. I think people over time got smarter and decide to make God as ludicrous as they can so others cant say he exists. And Im aware that there are still some religion like Hinduism that has many gods. Where there are hundreds but for the most part religion has gotten more and more centralized and harder to get to the God or deity over time. Thought?
