What I know for sure is that you can’t be all things to all people. It took me awhile to learn this because as a counselor and a healer I literally wanted to heal the world. I would bend over backwards to try to save everyone, even those that didnt want to be saved. That didnt serve them, but most of all it didnt serve me. As a woman, I had to learn boundaries. I had to learn to put myself first. I had to learn that this is not selfish, its self-love. It’s taking care of my needs so that I can help the people who really do WANT and NEED my help. I am Unapologetic about saying no to the things that do not serve me and saying YES to those that do. I’m sharing this with you because today someone told me that so many people need my help and they can’t afford to work with me and that’s not good. How many of you think the same way? I told her that no everyone can’t work with me and that’s great because I’m not for everyone and everyone is not for me. Women we have to learn where to draw the line, how to protect our boundaries and how to clearly define the energy we want in our life whether it’s a job, our health, relationships or money and how to take our power back and release the toxic, negative, draining energy we don’t want or need. I will continue to work hard to serve those that are for me and in the process I serve as your example and teach you to do the same. Ladies NEVER settle for less than you deserve!
