What I like about James Cameron back in the day when he wrote Strange Days, is he wrote a small novella first of the script he wanted to write and he did this with several of his scripts, that is how his brain works. There is even a book with the collection of his stories turned to scripts which I read over and over. And, I do this sometimes, because I think writing long fiction, like I do with my books, that my brain is working both ways. Its a good thing for me to go back to if I am not understanding or dragging in one of my scripts.
