What Im about to say may not be the same perspective you have, and - TopicsExpress

What Im about to say may not be the same perspective you have, and I respect that entirely. These recent police brutality issues have spewed a national hate. Two sides. The media saw an opportunity the second the Mike Brown incident happened. And so now after videos and recordings of cases similar to that this year, theres an unnecessary battle between many of us. There shouldnt be a side. It shouldnt be Im on the cops side it shouldnt be Im on the protesters side. Yes we as the American people have every right to protest and use our 1st Amendment. But theres no reason to walk the streets screaming We want dead cops! Its sad that those two men were killed out of cold blood and have to be put in the ground near the holidays. But its also sad how far some police can take certain things. The point Im trying to make, is that there are corrupt cops out there and there are good-hearted cops out there. Just like theres innocent people who have been killed by cops, and there truly are criminals who have been killed by cops. All in all, is it too hard to be understanding of the circumstances and meet halfway? Is it too hard to love/respect one another regardless of race, wealth, health, social status, etc.. Dont let the media fool you, dont let them continue to add fuel to the fire in this now racial standpoint. Im not asking you to change your viewpoint, Im not telling you that youre opinion is wrong and that mine is right. I just want there to be peace, I want an understanding on both sides. May you have a happy holidays and enter this new year as the best you, that you could ever be. Thank you if you read this.
