What Im about to write is something that is upsetting and sickening to think/say out loud let alone put into words. For my 21st birthday I received a very special necklace from my parents, and a lovely pair of elephant earrings from a friend. Both of these things were seen by me, Cameron and 2 others on our kitchen side before my party on the 29th August, and we are 100% sure of this. The next morning, they were gone. There is no chance that these things were thrown away by mistake as the only tidying up was done by me the next day, and these things were in the corner not on the edge where they could have fallen off or anything like that. We have spent the last 2 and a half months searching EVERYWHERE for these things in the desperate hope that they were tidied away somewhere safe, but as upsetting as it is I am now 99% sure that someone I call a friend, and invited into our home, has stolen from me. I am understandably upset by this and I dont know who to trust. I feel betrayed and sickened even thinking about it. I apologise to those who I can trust for being accusative, but the fact is, it wasnt exactly a mad house party with loads of people I didnt know. It was a party where I invited my closest friends to celebrate my 21st with me. At this point, I am urging whoever took them to return them and hear no more about it as the necklace, in particular, was extremely valuable to me. btw Im not tagging people in this who I think are guilty, I am just tagging everyone who was there that night.
