What We Did On Our Holiday - A film set in Scotland to celebrate Granddads (played by Billy Connolly) 70th Birthday with one of his Sons travelling up from the South in order to attend. This Son is played by David Tennant who is constantly arguing with his wife – soon to be ex. Their three kids are also travelling up so you can imagine the nightmare in driving all that way. Quite funny in places but also quite sad given that Billy Connollys character has a terminal illness. Billy Connolly is really good as is David Tennant. The story shows what the children decide to do for their beloved Granddad when he dies which is much to the horror of their elders. The other Son is played by Ben Miller who sells shorts much to the delight of the children – cue silly jokes.
